This book was published as an exhibition catalog for Stranger Than Paradise, a two-person exhibition by Lee Je, who draws pictures, and Orange, who takes pictures. In addition to the mediums of painting and photography, these two people from different generations and backgrounds supported each other's work and had a curious and respectful conversation about the fascination and power of each other's medium for quite some time.

The work of the two is not a work that clearly reveals the topic of femininity or feminist consciousness. However, if there is something deeply embedded in both of their works, it would be their constant efforts to capture the portraits, landscapes, and emotions of contemporary women living in the present.

In the work of those who are accompanied by self-consciousness to listen to their own position, different experiences and time lag, the portrait of a woman always appears as a face that is too familiar to us but cannot be recalled, or as a plurality of beings that cannot be called real.
